Miuccia Prada is known for her tender love for contemporary art. And not only as a collector and patron of the arts in this area, Prada directly with living artists, not only painters and illustrators, but also architects and sculptors.The new project is named Miuccia "In the Heart of the Multitude" and it is a collaboration with artist-designer muralist. Miuccia invited like artists Gabriel Spectrum, Miles Gregor (El Mac), Mesa,Stinkfish and also illustrators Detallante Pierre Morne Jeanne and space to paint the walls of Prada catwalk space walls.
Portraits of the invited artists refer to the work of the Mexican muralists 20-60 years of XX century - the muralists, who used the city as their canvas walls, creating murals in the streets to protest against the regime, and as a call to revolution. The most prominent representatives of the movement were Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros and Jose Clemente Orozco whose work together with installations in Prada boutiques in New York's SoHo and around the world were the impetus for the creation of the project "In the Heart of the Multitude".That's why space in the street Fogatstsaro Antonio, where shows are held each season Prada, has been transformed: instead of looking at a podium in the center of the hall, the audience found themselves on the "island" in the middle of the room, surrounded by six artists painted the walls, against which there were model.
