Exactly a year passed since Nicola Formichetti left Thierry Mugler and joined Diesel. And here is his first collection for the brand. The show was held in Venice. The leather, denim and military looks are basic for Diesel. Nicola said before show what makes it unique "is that it's not street, it's not luxury, it's a hybrid, a new breed of alternative-spirited brand."
The models walking along the amazing runway with backdrop created by Nick Night. All the models were picked up from Tumblr by Formichetti. "They're a new species, indigo children. I find them through Tumblr. They're everywhere, but they don;t know about each other till I connect them. That's what I am, a connector."
There was LGBT subtexts in the show and pussy Riot inspired finale.
