Tropic prints
Tropic prints are so amazing..This year they dominate and my
advice is everyone to acquire something like from pictures below.
Dsaquared campaign
Biker Couture – DSquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten were inspired by the decade of glamour and grunge, the nineties, for their resort 2013 collection. Model Cara Delevingne plays a strong female lead in nautical inspired denim, bustiers, mini skirts and cropped pants. Posing in biker couture looks, Cara waits by a pay phone in flirtatious ensembles sure to catch any guy’s eye. For the evening wear section, the Catens offer renaissance maxi gowns in black paired with leather jackets.

Fendi resort 2013
Karl Lagerfeld, polymath that he is, put both to work for him in the label's new Resort collection. He also referenced his 1970's self with a graph paper print he used back then. It could be that Lagerfeld is waxing nostalgic. More likely, it's just something in the air: The seventies have been a popular decade this season so far. Here the graph print appeared on a button-front blouse and matching skirt with double thigh slits. This was a leggy lineup all around, with shorts doing the work of pants and skirts and dresses dominating. The Fendi woman is no seductress, or at least she's not an obvious one. There's something decorous about these clothes. That said, a couple of little numbers in a beaded Stolba motif came finished with long strands of fringe. And there was more fun to be had on the accessories front. Many of the bags came with accessories of their own in the form of multicolored fur-covered cubes, like luxury versions of rearview mirror fuzzy dice.
Givenchy campaign
Virtual Madness – Givenchy’s fall 2012 campaign taps Stella Tennant for a series of images inspired by the energy of a rave. Captured by Mert & Marcus, Stella will also be joined by Joan Smalls, Stef van der Laan, Daniela Braga, Simone Nobili, Jarrod Scott and Rodrigo Braga (all unpictured) in the new advertisements which are styled by Carine Roitfeld. (WWD)

Fashion Is ART!
Balenciaga
For its December 2011 issue, Vogue asked conceptual artist Rachel Perry Welty to photograph an accessories story for the magazine. Using patterns from such luxury labels as Balenciaga, Prada, Givenchy and Alexander Wang, Welty creates self-portraits that transform these hip accessories into something oppressive. They completely overpower the human subject, whose face is obscured by her long blond hair; she is defined by her possessions, her consumption.
