Carmen Kass


Carmen Kass was born in Paide, Estonia. As a little girl, she lived in the village of Sika with her mother, who worked on a farm, and her father, who was a chess expert.
 The teenager and her mother met with the Brave agency in Milan, who wanted to sign and launch her career in modeling. Recognizing the great opportunity, Carmen tried to convince her mother to sign, but she wanted her daughter to stay in school. Carmen had no other choice but to forge her mother's signature in order to stay in Milan. After four years, she had learned the fundamentals of modeling
.
 When she turned 18, Carmen's carreer quickly went international.she left Miland and went to Paris. She immediately posed for the Vogue Paris November 1997 issue, photographed by Michael Thompson. The model soon became a runway idol. In 1999, she booked shows with Alberta Ferretti, Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and Valentino. Since she is called runway model,cover model,magazine model.she  is the face nearly every luxury brands.she opened a lot  shows.Forbes anoinced she the second model in the world!
She opend of her first agency, Baltic Models. Forbes magazine has ranked Carmen as the second most important model in the world.
Carmen knew that modeling  cant’s be forever so sheThis  join the party in power, Res Publica in February 2004 and ran for the Estonian elections of European Parliament. Even though she won 2,000 votes, Carmen failed to be elected into Parliament. In 2004, she was elected as president of the National Estonian League of Chess and participated in the 2008 Chess Olympiad in Tallinn, Estonia's capital. In 2007, Carmen Kass returned to center stage, booking ten advertising campaigns with Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo and again with Gap, and closing the Versace show. For Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2012, she appeared with short hair on the runways of Isabel Marant, Balmain and Giorgio Armani.
